The following was submitted to the RhymeZone 2021 poetry contest:

We thought we had seen the world's end
But it's been even harder how we were condemned:
We were stuck in a world without end
But lately I've seen a lotus in bloom
That brings to us that spring perfume
For maybe when Easter's time comes around
We will rise from the ashes on the ground
And will gather round to hear poets' lines
While we share flashing smiles of all kinds
But some say, by then, it will be the same
For there won't still be limits to that flame
Still I think, after the fire, we've got to live again
